About Us

Why We Exist

Lift My Cause was founded on a simple belief: assistive technology shouldn't be a luxury. Across Africa, millions of people living with visual impairment are locked out of tools the rest of the world takes for granted — not because the technology doesn't exist, but because it was never built for them.

Priced for Western markets, designed around Western languages, and largely invisible across the continent that needs it most.

We're changing that. Starting with Lift Vision, we're building AI-powered assistive technology that's affordable, accessible, and built specifically for the realities of life in Africa — from local currency recognition to a roadmap toward local language support.

Nana Bekoe Koranteng

Founder & Group CEO, Creation Unite

Nana Bekoe Koranteng is a Ghanaian entrepreneur and technologist based in Accra. He is the founder and Group CEO of Creation Unite, a technology education company that has trained thousands of students in coding, robotics, and AI, and organized Ghana's National Coding and Robotics Competition and AppFest Expo.

A graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with a degree in Computer Science, Nana has spent his career building technology ventures that solve real problems for African communities — from education to fintech to assistive technology.

He founded Lift My Cause after recognizing a clear gap: existing assistive technology for the blind and visually impaired was built for markets far from home, at prices far out of reach. Lift Vision is his answer — affordable, Africa-first assistive technology, starting with smart glasses that describe the world in real time.

Nana also hosts Empower & Elevate, a podcast sharing life lessons and real stories for young people, and is active in mentoring students preparing for university and early careers.
